Construction begins to transform historic building into community space

Building has begun to renovate one of Melksham’s oldest buildings in Canon Square into accommodation as well as flexible working space for local charities and the growing children and youth’s church at St Michael’s Church.

Stonemasonry and internal asbestos removal work started at the end of September marking the beginning of phase 1 of the church’s Building to Serve project.
